Hello, I've found a few boxes (Volumes) with 50,000 photos in disks. I guess we have them for at least 10 years, I have no idea how to use them, how to export all pics to my computer. Please advise.

As far as I know, you can't export the images contained in the HEMERA databases because you would need the software. Once you have the software, then Exporting becomes a possibility, but even so, expect for this option to lack availability.

If the CD was made for versions of Windows prior to Windows XP, then you won't have the possibility to install the supporting software.

I have Hemera 50,000 vol. 1. I am running Windows 8.1. These CDs don't seem to work. My SN# is P05-47089-15557-08003. What do I need to do? Is there an upgrade?

The CDs are not created to work with Windows 8.1. According to the official website, the CDs work with the following Windows versions: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME.

The only way to make this program work is through compatibility Wizard. To do this, insert the CD in a computer with Windows 8.1. Go to Computer and right-click on the CD-ROM. Choose Explore, locate the executable file then right-click on it and use Troubleshoot Compatibility. Let Windows test the compatibility and then use Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista. Launch the software with the given settings or change them if one Windows option is not working. Unfortunately, there is no other way to make this work.
